- Abstract
- This paper considers the need to relate users need(s) as requirement for WeSEs in a dynamic context. User-centred evaluative methodology was used to propose a First-order Measurement Model (FoMM) with baseline characteristics using factor analysis. Results obtained showed that FoMM demonstrated reasonable model fit. The assumption is that criteria (or factors) encapsulate users' needs; hence they were translated into users' requirement for WeSEs using the qualitative evaluative approach. We therefore infer that WeSE's success in the delivery of assistance to users, particularly in a dynamic context must be based, not only on the progress of technology, but also on users' requirements.
