    Abstract
    Es wird ein relationales konzeptuelles Datenschema für ein Information Retrieval System (IRS) entworfen. Möglichkeiten für die interne Darstellung der Verweisrelation, welche die Beziehung zwischen Deskriptoren und Dokumenten herstellt, werden an den Beispielen der Datenbanksysteme SUPRA und ORACLE aufgezeigt. Für die Grundtypen der Standard-Retrievalsprache 'Common Command Language (CCL)' werden Transformationen in eine einfache relationale Datenmanipulationssprache angegeben. Die möglichen Alternativen, ein IRS an ein DBMS anzubinden, werden besprochen. Der letzte Teil des Beitrags befaßt sich mit Problemen der Integritätssicherung bei parallel zum Retrievalbetrieb laufendem Produktions- und Änderungsbetrieb
