    Abstract
    Robert Cailliau gehört zu den streitbaren Gegnern einer weiteren Kommerzialisierung des Internet. Zusammen mit Tim Berners-Lee entwickelte er am europäischen Forschungszentrum CERN das auf HTTP basierende Hypertext-System und schuf damit die Grundlage für das WWW.
