Abstract: This paper reports on efforts at the University of Florida to explore the team approach to original monograph cataloging and serials CONSER. The author describes how teams of librarians and assistants worked to produce a finished product in an effort to handle problematic materials. A major reworking of assignments and increased levels of professionalism and cooperation among the staff was noted as a result of the approach.
