    Abstract
Lack of use by managers of what are deemed to be valuable information sources is a cause of considerable worry to library and information (LIS) staff. Argues that problems of underutilization are more fundamental that user ignorance or stubbornness and that the LIS profession needs to provide itself with accurate, up to date, relevant and comprehensive information on managers in order to update and improve service provision to this sector
