    Abstract
    Hertfordshire Libraries, Arts and Information, are developing an increasingly broad information services role. They have adopted ALS' InfoCentre, a public information network system which integrates with the existing library systems and offers community based services, where many information providers can offer their information in parallel. The services also plans to publish the county's public information resources on the Internet
