- The National Bibliographic Service is a directorate that resulted from a decision in 1989 to divide the British Library's Bibliographic Services Division. Discusses the continuing enhancement of BNB on CD-ROM, the development of the Market Research and Customer Services sections, continuing interest in the printed amd microfiche editions of BNB, and upgrading of the Eighteenth Century Short Title Catalogue
