    Abstract
    Für ihre Nutzer sind Bibliothekare seit Jahren dabei die Kommunikationswege zu optimieren und zu effektivieren; eine gewichtige Rolle spielen da die elektronischen Medien und das Internet. Doch wie sieht es mit ihrer eigenen Arbeitsumgebung und ihren Informationsbedürfnissen aus? Die Universitätsbibliothek Konstanz nutzt das Netz zur innerbetrieblichen Kommunikation und macht so für viele Mitarbeiter die tägliche Arbeit weniger papierlastig. Dass konventionelle Methoden weiterhin parallel laufen, hat mit unterschiedlichen Arbeitsaufgaben und Vorlieben zu tun
