- Abstract
- Der Impact Factor gilt mittlerweile als das bedeutendste Zitationsmaß und wird häufig als Entscheidungskriterium herangezogen. Dabei wird jedoch oftmals ignoriert, dass der Impact Factor als eine mit vielen Problemen behaftete Messgröße angesehen werden muss. Folgender Beitrag setzt sich mit den Kritikpunkten an diesem Indikator auseinander und untersucht, worauf große Schwankungen des Impact Factors zurückgeführt werden können.
