    Es werden die Schwächen aus der Sicht der Benutzer und aus bibliothekarischer Sicht eines konventionell geführten DK-Katalogs aufgezeigt und den Vorteilen eines EDV-gestützten DK-Katalogs gegenübergestellt. Bezüglich der Realisierungsmöglichkeiten eines EDV-gestützten DK-Katalogs wird insbesondere auf die Möglichkeiten der Mikrocomputer hingewiesen und werden Hardwarekonfigurationen und Probleme der Software behandelt
