    Abstract
    Der Nikolausbeschluss 2001 des Standardisierungsausschusses hat die deutschen Katalogisierungsgemüter erhitzt. Dieser Effekt ist durchaus zu begrüßen, da zum ersten Mal offen und - inzwischen auch - sachbezogen über die Regelwerke diskutiert wird. Die Argumentationsbreite reicht von Beibehaltung der RAK-WB, Fertigstellung der RAK2 bis zur 1:1-Einführung der AACR2 mit allen Konsequenzen für ein nicht-englischsprachiges Land. Nach Meinung der Autorin kann eine vernünftige deutschsprachige Lösung nur eine moderne RAK2 mit noch stärkeren AACR-Komponenten sein. Dies Szenario soll im Folgenden skizziert werden.

    Abstract
    Der Nikolausbeschluss hat die deutschen Katalogisierungsgemüter erhitzt. Dieser Effekt ist durchaus zu begrüßen, da zum ersten MaI offen und - inzwischen auch - sachbezogen über die Regelwerke diskutiert wird. Die Argumentationsbreite reicht von Beibehaltung der RAK-WB, Fertigstellung der RAK2 bis zur 1:1-Einführung der AACR2 mit allen Konsequenzen für ein nichtenglischsprachiges Land. Nach Meinung der Autorin kann eine vernünftige deutschsprachige Lösung nur eine moderne RAK2 mit noch stärkeren AACR-Komponenten sein. Dieses Szenario soll im Folgenden skizziert werden. - Stand der RAK2 - An RAK2 ist in den vergangenen Jahren unter der Prämisse gearbeitet worden, ein online-orientiertes, einfacheres und stärker AACR2-bezogenes Regelwerk zu erstellen. Dies ist mit der Bearbeitung der Grundparagraphen, der Neufassung der 200er- Paragraphen, der teilweisen Bearbeitung der 500erund der Fertigstellung der 600er-Paragraphen sicher größtenteils gelungen.
