- Initial report from an ongoing study which aims to form a framework for understanding and rating multimedia products. Introduces multimedia, sets out a continuum for it and gives a brief history of the medium. Sets out a general evaluation framework for electronic materials. Multimedia adds a further layer of complexity to evaluation particularly in content, indexing and user interface
