    Sometimes fielding reference queries over the Internet raises the possibility of professional misconduct and liability actions. Broadcasting questions over the Internet could often allow other parties to tap information at the expense of the original seeker. Recommends expanding the reference interview, asking clients for permission to use the Internet, considering third party interests and training for the network era
