    Abstract
    Provides a brief history of developments in Russian library automation since the 1970s. The Rudomino Library for Foreign Literature has, over the last 2 years, progressed from creating an experimental database to using the Internet and OCLC. Describes the automation project now proceeding using the TINLIB system and the maintenance of authority records as the work proceeds
