    Abstract
Reviews ISYS, a full text retrieval system from Odyssey developments. ISYS supports a wide variety of wordprocessor, text and spreadsheet formats. A programming interface is included for developers to integrate ISYS into their own applications. Describes how to use ISYS to create a database index for a set of documents and then query that index to locate, retrieve and display information from the indexed documents. Discusses configuration options, precedence of operators, displaying and manipulating search results, the advanced menu, ease of learning and use, documentation and library applications

    Abstract
Reviews the EndNote Plus software package, one of a growing range of bibliography makers, designed to facilitate the creation of bibliographies by means of word processing software. EndNote Plus can be used to create large, fully formatted bibliographies that can be incorporated automatically into research papers. Alternatively, EndNote Plus bibliographies can be created as independent documents with facilities that provide users with basic search and retrieval tools. EndNote Plus also supports the importing of downloaded data from online databases and other external sources

    Abstract
In order to evaluate the features and functionality of the online help system for the NOTIS (version 5.1) OPAC. a set of performance enhancing features were gathered from a review of research studies of online help systems, 25 features were identified and organized into 4 categories: user training, interface; access to system commands; and massage content and display. The evaluation revealed that the NOTIS online help system fared poorly in user training features, fared well in user interface; was substandard in access to system commands, and moderately well in message content and display. Concludes that the NOTIS help system is probably no better and no worse than that of other library systems but is adequate
