Abstract

Komplexität - mehr als ein Schlagwort! Eindimensionales Denken regiert eine mehrdimensionale Welt. Doch die Ära der Eindeutigkeiten geht zu Ende. An ihre Stelle tritt ein neues vernetztes Denken, das die Komplexität der Gesellschaft versteht und würdigt, statt sie zu bekämpfen. Die Welt scheint aus den Fugen zu geraten: Das Vertrauen in Politik schwindet, Märkte sind nur schwer zu bändigen, gesellschaftliche Konflikte werden kaum mehr zivilisiert geführt, Demokratie verliert ihre Integrationskraft, gesellschaftliche Selbstverständlichkeiten lösen sich auf. Wir bleiben verfangen in politischen und gesellschaftlichen Konzepten des 19. Jahrhunderts und scheitern damit an der erreichten Komplexität unserer Gesellschaft - im richtigen Leben ebenso wie auch in unseren Theorien und Denkkonzepten. Worum es geht, ist ein vernetztes Denken zu entwickeln, das mit Instabilität rechnet und Abweichungen liebt, das Komplexität nicht vermeidet und wegredet, sondern versteht und entfaltet und sie mit ihren eigenen Mitteln schlägt.
