    Abstract
    Eine fundierte Untersuchung der Anforderungen an Experimente im Information Retrieval bedarf einer geeigneten Sprache, die es erlaubt, alle relevanten Aspekte adäquat zu beschreiben. Der Beitrag versucht, ein solches Begriffsgerüst zu entwickeln. Als grundlegende Begriffe dienen die 4 Kategorien: experimentelle Faktoren, situative Faktoren; Experimentalobjekte und Beobachtungsvariablen.
