- Abstract
- In den Arbeiten dieses Sammelbandes wird die Erkenntnistheorie des 'radikalen Konstruktivismus' anschaulich und folgerichtig entwickelt. In Untersuchungen zu Sprache und Kommunikation, zur kybernetischen Modellierung kognitiver Prozesse, zur Entwicklung des begrifflichen - besonders auch des mathematischen - Denkens von Kindern wird im einzelnen dargestellt, daß wir die Idee 'objektiver' Erkenntnis verwerfen müssen, solange wir streng empirisch und rational erkennen wollen. Alle Erkenntnis, alles Wissen stellt keine 'Entdeckung' einer unabhängig von uns existierenden Realität dar, sondern wird von uns erzeugt, 'konstruiert', und bleibt solange gültig als es uns zu (über-)leben hilft, als es 'viabel' ist. Daraus ergibt sich nicht nur eine dramatisch veränderte Sicht menschlicher Erkenntnis, menschlichen Lernens, Handelns und Zusammenlebens, sondern auch eine anspruchsvolle Ethik der individuellen (Über-)Lebensverantwortung

- Abstract
- Die Ausgangsthese lautet: der breite und ökonomisch effiziente Einsatz natürlichsprachlicher Frage-Antwort-Systeme (FAS) ist allein mit der Weiterführung der sich heute abzeichnenden Entwicklungsrichtung nicht zu erreichen. Man erhofft den Durchbruch von einer beständigen Erweiterung der sprachlichen und kognitiven Fähigkeiten der Systeme und orientiert sich an der zwischenmenschlichen Kommunikation. Dieser Ansatz ist wissenschaftlich legitim, aber nicht ausreichend. Er muß durch ein reduktionistisches Element ergänzt werden. Weiter sind die Unterschiede zwischen Mensch-Maschine Interaktion und Mensch-Mensch Kommunikation zu erforschen und erzielte Ergebnisse umzusetzen. Der methodische Weg hierzu sind empirische Studien (Feldstudien und experimentelle Tests)

- Abstract
- Aufgabe der Datenanalyse ist es, Daten zu ordnen, übersichtlich darzustellen, verborgene und natürlich Strukturen zu entdecken, die diesbezüglich wesentlichen Eigenschaften herauszukristallisieren und zweckmäßige Modelle zur Beschreibung von Daten aufzustellen. Es wird ein Einblick in die Methoden und Prinzipien der Datenanalyse vermittelt. Anhand typischer Beispiele wird gezeigt, welche Daten analysiert, welche Strukturen betrachtet, welche Darstellungs- bzw. Ordnungsmethoden verwendet, welche Zielsetzungen verfolgt und welche Bewertungskriterien dabei angewendet werden können. Diskutiert wird auch die angemessene Verwendung der unterschiedlichen Methoden, wobei auf die gefahr und Art von Fehlinterpretationen hingewiesen wird
