- Abstract
- FinMeSH, for Finish medical and health information users has been prepared by cooperation between professional societies and institutions as well as through international relations. MeSH has a global and a local section. It would be helpful for efficient information retrieval and availability of medical and health care information, if the complete global structure could be reflected in live local concepts

- Abstract
- In Sweden, the Medical Subject Headings System (MeSH) has been used for more than 3 decades but the decision to translate it to the Swedish language was made only in 1995. The reasons of the translation are the sophisticated strucuture of the keyword system and the expansion of the retrieval needs of medical information in Sweden
