- Abstract
- Im Mittelpunkt des klassischen Paradigmas der bibliothekarischen Arbeit standen bibliothekarischen Regeln als Sollvorstellungen, die der Nutzer verstehen sollte, bevor die vielfältigen Dienste genutzt werden konnten. In dem Beitrag wird der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit das digitale Publizieren die Aufgaben der Bibliothek beeinflusst. Dazu wird zunächst herausgearbeitet, dass es sich bei dem Paradigmenwechsel um eine grundlegende Veränderung der Struktur und Arbeitsweise handelt. Die neuen Technologien (z. B. Google) haben sich der Realität angepasst und damit die Herangehensweise der Nutzer bei der Informationssuche und deren Erwartungen an Dienstleister. Daraus ergibt sich eine Reihe neuer Aufgaben, von denen folgende kurz diskutiert werden: Dienstleister in der wissenschaftlichen Kommunikation, Zugriff auf die Informationen und Primärdaten. Neben dem Zugriff auf Informationen und Medien muss es aber zunehmend um die Schaffung eines Umfeldes für wissenschaftliche Inspiration gehen.
