    Abstract
Describes 3 models of hypertext. Each model represents a different level in the design and decision process necessary for effective hypertext development, and each model plays an important role in the development and use of information management software exhibiting hypertext features. They are: the Dexter hypertext model; gIBIS (generalised Issue-Based Information System); and Trellis

    Abstract
Explains the principles of hypertext systems and defines these as information management systems characterised by their ability to provide links between individual text segments. Describes and compares the characteristics of 3 systems: HYPERTIES, GUIDE and INTERES. Descusses hardware rewuirements: all 3 will run on IBM compatible personal computers, with preferably 1 MB RAM, either under MS DOS (HYPERTIES and INTERES) or Windows (GUIDE). Concludes that GUIDE, with complex retrieval functions, seems to be the most sophisticated hypertext tool of those evaluated

    Abstract
Conceptual considerations on possible synergies between hypertext and indexing languages' research. The existence of a common conceptual and theoretical background encourages and facilitates cooperation. It is concluded that the conjunction of the almost biological flexibility of the hypertext and the logical and conceptual consistency of indexing languages is a promise of better and more effective information management systems in the future

    Abstract
Discusses 3 levels of requirements for testing hypertext applications: the validation of the information contained in each node of the hypertext; the verification of the correctness of the implementation of the links between the nodes; and the evaluation of the system structure for testing the usability. For each level of the requirements, proposes test adequacy criteria and gives algorithms for generating adequate test suites of minimum cost. Based on the analysis, develops a software testing tool to support the efficient management of a hypertext testing process
