Abstract: In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden 4 Abfrageoberflächen unterschiedlicher Retrievalsysteme, die für die Mitarbeiter des Umweltbundesamtes Berlin zugänglich sind, im Hinblick auf Nutzerfreundlichkeit und intuitiver Bedienbarkeit vergleichend untersucht. Der 'Einfachdialog' und die Oberfläche der 'Umwelt-CD' greifen auf die Datenbestände der Umweltdatenbanken zu. Berücksichtigt werden hierbei die Oberflächen zur Recherche in ULIDAT und UFORDAT. Das Metadatensystem UDK (Umweltdatenkatalog) wird in der PC-Version, dem 'UDK-UBA', und in der WWW-Variante in die Untersuchung einbezogen
