    Abstract
    Mathematische Techniken ermöglichen, Daten zuverlässig und vertraulich über unsichere Kanäle zu schicken. Zugleich gewinnen die Beteiligten Gewißheit über die Identität des Partners oder Vertrauen zu einem Unbekannten. Bislang hat zum Beispiel das System Athena, welches die Rechner des MIT gegen unbefugten Zugriff absichert, jeder Attacke standgehalten. Derartige Sicherheit verführt nun allerdings auch Kriminelle dazu, ihre Untaten ins Internet zu verlegen. KAnn der Staat unkontrollierte Meinungsfreiheit im Netz der Netze zulassen? Wie lassen sich illegale Inhalte aus dem Internet herausfiltern?
