- Abstract
- Die neue Ausgabe der KAB/Ter ersetzt die im Zentralinstitut für Bibliothekswesen 1985 unter dem Titel 'Klassifikation für Staatliche Allgemeinbibliotheken und Gewerkschaftsbibliotheken - Teil Territorialbestände (KAB/Ter)' erschienen 1. Aufl. An der Entwicklung der aktuellen Fassung der KAB/Ter haben mehrere Bibliothek mitgewirkt. Die Überarbeitung der bisherigen Gleiderung erfolgte wiederum in enger Anlehnung an die KAB/E; alle Veränderungen, die für regionalkundliche Bestände relevant sind, wurden berücksichtigt. Das alphabetische Schlagwortregister ist grundlegend bearbeitet und um neue Begriffe der Gliederung und andere aktuelle Schlagwörter erweitert worden. Es umfaßt jetzt etwa 3.100 Schlagwörter bzw. Schlagwortketten sowie Verweisungen. Der Kommentar enthält einleitend die Geschichte der KAB/Ter, Informationen zur vorliegenden Ausgabe und erläutert Besonderheiten von Inhalt, Aufbau und Struktur der Gliederung
