Among the aspects dealt with are the rival formats for distribution and playback; how publishers are apporaching multimedia, and software companies approaching publishing; multimedia music; ownership copyright; and networking implications. Notes the role of SuperJANET in the UK in the area of multimedia networking, and the prospect of publishers beginning to use networks as a way of publishing and distributing their products
