    Abstract
    (GI) Die Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI) sieht mit Besorgnis, wie vor dem Hintergrund der Corona-Krise und dem Leidensdruck vieler Schulen, Lehrkräfte, Eltern sowie Schülerinnen und Schüler eine Festlegung auf datenschutzrechtlich bedenkliche, proprietäre Softwarelösungen erfolgt - und dies trotz guter Alternativen.

    Eckpunkte der Argumentation: "Insbesondere folgende Eckpunkte sieht die Gesellschaft für Informatik als entscheidend für die digitale Souveränität der Schülerinnen und Schüler, der Schulen sowie des IT-Standortes an: 1. Rechtskonforme, datenschutzgerechte Lösungen etablieren. 2. Digitale Souveränität (Transparenz, Unabhängigkeit und Sicherheit) durch Open-Source-Software fördern. 3. Lock-In-Effekte vermeiden. 4. Bereitstellung notwendiger Ressourcen. Die Gesellschaft für Informatik fordert die in den Bundesländern zuständigen Ministerien und Behörden auf, mittel- bis langfristig tragfähige Strategien zur Stärkung der digitalen Souveränität der Schülerinnen und Schüler, der Institutionen und des IT-Standortes zu entwickeln und auch kurzfristig Lerninfrastrukturen unter Berücksichtigung dieser vier Kernelemente zu unterstützen bzw. auf- und umzusetzen.
