- Abstract
- Der Herausgeber liefert mit diesem Band Bausteine zu einer Geschichte der Medientheorie und -analyse in Form einer kommentierten Anthologie. Wegweisende Beiträge zu verschiedenen Bereichen der Medienwissenschaft werden auszugsweise abgedruckt und in Kommentaren erläutert. Dies geschieht unter folgenden Gesichtspunkten: Entstehung und Rezeption des Textes - Zusammenhang mit anderen Werken des Autors - Theoretische Einordnung und Stellenwert in der Geschichte der Medienanalyse - Beziehung zu anderen Autoren und einschlägigen Werken.
