The main purpose of this book is to provide a source of reference to all important rules contained in CCC at one place. Therefore, a special attempt has been made toprovide descriptions as simple and direct as could be possible. The purpose of this book would be well served, if interest of the read ers in the subject of the library cataloguing is arousd, encouraged and developed along the right lines. It is hoped that with the help of this book, students and cataloguers will be in a position to consult and understand the CCC with ease.
