- Abstract
- Am 21. und 22. April 2010 fand die 58. Sitzung der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Verbundsysteme auf Einladung des Informationsverbund Deutschschweiz (IDS) in Zürich statt. Der folgende Bericht gibt einen Überblick über die gemeinsamen Aktivitäten der deutschsprachigen Verbünde aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz sowie eine Übersicht der aktuellen Arbeiten und Projekte der Mitglieder der AG Verbund mit Stand April 2010. Bericht u.a. über die Themenbereiche: Projekt Umstieg auf MARC21; GND; Normdateien und ONline-Schnittstelle; Kataloganreicherung; vascoda; Europeana.

- Darin auch: "Umstieg auf MARC 21 Die Umstellung auf das MARC-21-Format beim Datenexport bei der Weitergabe der Metadaten für bibliografische, Norm- und Lokaldaten, an den Online-Lieferschnittstellen (SRU, OAI), im Portal und im Batch-Datendienst sind vollzogen. Im Berichtszeitraum wurden die MARC-21-Import-Schnittstelle für bibliografische Daten in den produktiven Einsatz übernommen und die Datenlieferungen der British Library, der Library of Congress und des Springer-Verlags im MARC-21-Format in das Pica-Internformat hochgearbeitet. Die Daten der BL und der LoC werden als "normale" DNB-MAB-Daten wieder ausgeliefert. Der Import der Springer-Daten für den neuen Geschäftsgang im Bereich der Netzpublikationen in die ILTIS-Datenbank wurde getestet. Einige deutsche Spezifika (MARC 090, 247, 363, 689) wurden ergänzt, sodass anhand von "echten" bibliografischen Testdaten der Verbünde ein letzter Test der Schnittstelle durchgeführt werden kann. Geplant ist weiterhin der MARC-21-Import der Lokaldaten der ZDB und der Normdaten, nachdem die drei getrennten Normdatenbestände GKD, PND und SWD in die GND integriert worden sind." (S.174)
"Crisscross (DFG) Die zweite Komponente des CrissCross-Projektes, die Verlinkung der SWD mit RAMEAU und LCSH-Schlagwörter, hat begonnen. Zur Erstellung der multilingualen Schlagwort-Beziehung nutzt DNB das Linking Management Tool (LMI) von MACS und konnte so innerhalb des Berichtszeitraums ca. 50.000 SWD-Schlagwörter mit den RAMEAU/LCSH-Pärchen verbinden. Das weitere Vorgehen, wie die mulitlingualen Links aus dem LMI in die DNB-Umgebung überführt werden, ist zurzeit in der Planung. Parallel dazu wurde die Verlinkung der DDC mit dem SWD-Schlagwort im Katalogisierungsclient WinIBW fortgeführt." (S.174) Melvil Die Pläne, zusammen mit OCLC Melvil zu einem multilingualen DDC-Dienst auszubauen, sind aus Kapazitätsgründen bei OCLC und DNB zunächst verschoben worden, werden aber weiter verfolgt. Bei Melvil sind weitere Arbeiten ausgeführt worden, um kleinere Bugs zu beseitigen und weitere Features zu implementieren." (S.175)
