Fazit: Wer sich von der Neuauflage von Vickery & Vickery eine auf dem neuesten Stand befindliche Einführung in die Informationswissenschaft erhofft hat, wird enttäuscht sein. Für jene Personen, die das Buch hingegen noch nicht kannten, bzw. jene Bibliotheken, die die ältere Auflage nicht im Bestand haben, ist diese dritte Auflage, ungeachtet ihrer Schwächen und des überhöhten Preises, ein "Muss"!
