- "Im Frühjahr 2010 hat eine Kommission aus je drei Praktikerinnen und Systematikexpertinnen aus ASB- und KAB-Anwenderbibliotheken ihre Arbeit aufgenommen. Als ASB-Expertinnen aktiv sind: Birgit Bellinger (Stadtbücherei Stuttgart), Barbara Kette (Stadtbibliothek Mannheim) und Uta Nieper (Stadtbibliothek Saarbrücken). Die KAB wird vertreten durch Sigrid Riedel (Stadt- und Regionalbibliothek Frankfurt/ Oder), Ulrike Rosner (Stadtbibliothek Chemnitz) und Daniela Sitte-Zöllner (Städtische Bibliotheken Dresden). Tatkräftig unterstützt wird die Expertinnengruppe von der ekz, die die Geschäfte führt und das Know-how der ekz-Systematisierer einbringt. Den Vorsitz hat Heinz-Jürgen Lorenzen im Auftrag der Steuerungsgruppe der Systematikkooperation übernommen. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, durch die kooperative Pflege der Systematiken die anfallende Arbeit auf mehrere Schultern zu verteilen und damit mittelfristig Synergieeffekte zu erzielen. Neben der anstehenden Aktualisierungsarbeit an beiden Systematiken soll künftig aber auch weitergedacht werden: Angestrebt wird eine schrittweise Angleichung von ASB und KAB, sodass langfristig zwei kompatible Systematiken unter Beibehaltung der jeweiligen Notationen entstehen. Ein erstes Update für ausgewählte, besonders dringlich anstehende Gruppen der ASB ist für Anfang 2012 geplant: So befinden sich derzeit die Gruppen Z, 0, H in der Bearbeitung. Der Arbeitsplan sieht vor, danach die Gruppen E, N, P, U, und We in Angriff zu nehmen. Weiterer Überarbeitungsbedarf aus Sicht der Fachöffentlichkeit kann gerne an den Vorsitzenden gerichtet werden.

- § 2 Organisation 1. Für die Systematikkooperation unterhalten die drei Kooperationspartner die Steuerungsgruppe Systematikkooperation. Der Steuerungsgruppe obliegt das umfassende Controlling der Systematikpflege: Definition der Aufgaben, der Projektdauer, der Projektmittel sowie der Evaluation.Jeder Kooperationspartner hat die Möglichkeit, zwei Vertreter in die Steuerungsgruppe einzubringen. Entscheidungen innerhalb der Steuerungsgruppe werden nach Möglichkeit im Konsens aller drei Kooperationspartner getroffen. Sollte ein solcher Konsens im Einzelfall nicht möglich sein, können Beschlüsse mit einfacher Mehrheit gefasst werden, sofern mindestens ein Vertreter jedes der drei Kooperationspartner anwesend ist und sofern es sich nicht um grundlegende Fragen handelt. 2. Die Organisation der Überarbeitung der einzelnen Systematik obliegt der Arbeitsstelle Systematikkooperation. Für die koordinierende, sachbearbeitende und redaktionelle Arbeit der Arbeitsstelle schließt jeweils ein Verband (BIB für ASB; DBV für KAB) einen Honorarvertrag mit einer dafür geeigneten Person ab. 3. Die konkrete Überarbeitung der einzelnen Systematik durch die Arbeitsstelle wird aus der Praxis heraus unterstützt durch zwei Expertengruppen. Die Federführung für die Expertengruppe zur Bearbeitung der KAB obliegt dem DBV; die Federführung für die Expertengruppe zur Bearbeitung der ASB hat der BIB. Die Mitglieder werden im Einvernehmen mit der Steuerungsgruppe Systematikkooperation berufen. Sie besteht jeweils aus bis zu 5 Vertretern vom BIB (bei der ASB) bzw. vom DBV (bei der KAB), bis zu 3 Vertretern der ekz, einem Vertreter der Arbeitsstelle. In der Expertengruppe hat die Arbeitsstelle geschäftsführenden und beratenden Status; sie organisiert die Arbeit der Expertengruppe, bereitet die einzelnen Sitzungen vor und sorgt für die Sitzungsprotokolle und - am Ende - für die druckfertige Vorlage der Systematik. Die Expertengruppe wählt eine/n Vorsitzende/n aus ihren Reihen. Sie/er vertritt den federführenden Verband (BIB oder DBV).
