    Abstract
    Die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek hat im März 2007 die 4. RSWK-Ergänzungslieferung zur 3. Auflage der "Regeln für den Schlagwortkatalog (RSWK)" veröffentlicht. Die Ergänzungslieferung steht in elektronischer Form kostenfrei zur Verfügung <http://www.d-nb.de/standardisierung/regelwerke/afs_dok_reg_entw.htm> <urn:nbn:de:1111-20040721213> http://nbn-resolving.de/urn/resolver.pl?urn=urn:nbn:de:1111-20040721213. Die Ergänzungslieferung enthält u.a. Änderungen an § 18,3 (hier wurde der Schwerpunkt der Vergabe von Sprachencodes auf Werke bestimmter Wissensgebiete verschoben), § 405,3 (Ergänzung der als Sachschlagwort zu behandelnden Geschichtskomposita um 'Formgeschichte') sowie diverse redaktionelle Korrekturen (u.a. Anpassung von Text und Beispielen an Regelwerksänderungen, die in der 3. Ergänzungslieferung 2005 der RSWK veröffentlicht wurden, und Verbesserung von Schreibfehlern). Die Expertengruppe RSWK/SWD hat die Änderungen an den RSWK auf ihrer Sitzung am 10. Mai 2006 beschlossen und anschließend dem Standardisierungsausschuss vorgelegt. Der Standardisierungsausschuss hat in einem Umlaufverfahren im Februar 2007 einer Veröffentlichung und Inkraftsetzung zugestimmt. Sie können die Papierausgabe der 4. Ergänzungslieferung 2007 zur 3. Sie wurde auf eine formale Reihenfolge vereinfacht; bei Zusammentreffen von mehreren Schlagwörtern der gleichen Kategorie soll eine sinnvolle Reihenfolge gewählt werden. § 15 macht grundsätzliche Aussagen zur Anzeige und zum Retrieval von Schlagwortfolgen. Außerdem wurde § 106 dahingehend geändert, dass in Zukunft der Homonymenzusatz bei Personen nur eine der SWD zu entnehmende Bezeichnung sein soll; die Unterscheidung von engen und weiten Berufsbezeichnungen mit einer zugelassenen Liste wird aufgegeben. In § 731 wird hinsichtlich der Kirchenbauten präzisiert, welche Bezeichnungen als Individualnamen gelten. Die Expertengruppe Sacherschließung hat die Änderungen an den RSWK auf ihren Sitzungen am 20. April 2009 bzw. 16. November 2009 beschlossen. Der Standardisierungsausschuss hat auf seiner 18. Sitzung am 25. November 2009 einer Veröffentlichung und Inkraftsetzung zum 1. Januar 2010 zugestimmt. Die Anpassungen des Regelwerks, die sich aus den geänderten §§ 13-15 ergeben, sollen Anfang 2010 veröffentlicht werden.
