Abstract

In der Zentralbibliothek der Boehringer Mannheim GmbH, einem Unternehmen der forschenden pharmazeutischen Industrie in Deutschland, erfolgt die Informationsversorgung neuerdings auch auf elektronischem Weg. Die Bibliothek liefert den derzeit ca. 180 betriebsinternen Interessenten die Inhaltsverzeichnisse von etwa 300 Zeitschriften über das elektronische Postsystem direkt in deren elektronisches Postfach. Der vorliegende Bericht beschreibt Situationsanalyse und Entscheidungsfindung durch die Bibliothek, die bibliothekarischen und technischen Vorarbeiten, die Realisierung des Projektes, die während der Entstehungs- und Einführungsphase aufgetretenen Probleme und die Akzeptanz bei den Benutzern
