    Abstract
    In diesem Beitrag möchte ich ein Thema aufgreifen, das bereits seit vielen Jahren diskutiert wird. Die Organisation sozialwissenschaftlichen Wissens auf begrifflicher Ebene ist Gegenstandsbereich sowohl für die Bibliotheks- und Informationswissenschaften bzw. für das Dokumentationswesen (Soergel 1971), als auch für die sozialwissenschaftliche Theoriendiskussion. Mit der Perspektive der terminologischen (d.h. also begrifflichen) Wissensorganisation haben wir den Vorteil, dass wir das Thema sowohl auf der theoretischen Ebene wie auch auf der praktischen Ebene gut miteinander verbinden können.
