    Abstract
    Kann Logik, die für Systeme der Wissensorganisation immer eine wichtige Rolle gespielt hat, auch einen Beitrag leisten, wenn man Organisation als Tätigkeit begreift? Diese Frage wird im Rückgriff auf zwei zunächst disparate Gebiete behandelt. Auf dem Gebiet der Planungskalküle (Planungsexpertensysteme) haben sich gewichtige Schwierigkeiten für den Einsatz von Logik für die Handlungsplanung ergeben. Deren Bewertung führt zu grundsätzlichen Fragen des Verständnisses von Logik und in diesem Zusammenhang zur konstruktiven Logik. Diese konzipiert Logik selbst als Planung oder auch Organisation von Handlungen. Werden gewisse Anschlussprobleme beseitigt, die sich aus ihrer dialogischen Form ergeben, so bietet sie die Grundlage für einen erfolgversprechenden Einsatz von logikbasierten Verfahren auch im Feld der als Aktivität verstandenen Wissensorganisation (Wissensverarbeitung).

    Abstract
    Wer philosophiert, der argumentiert. Dabei hält sich das erstaunliche Vorurteil, daß beim philosophischen Argumentieren einfach nur die formale Logik auf die Themen der Philosophie anzuwenden sei. Aber mit Logikkenntnissen allein ist es nicht getan. Das spannende und aufregende Denkabenteuer philosophischen Argumentierens beginnt jenseits des bloß Formalen. Holm Tetens legt ein Buch vor, das in die Eigenheiten philosophischen Argumentierens ganz von den inhaltlichen Themen und Problemen der Philosophie her einführt. Dabei kommt die formale Logik durchaus zu ihrem Recht, indem zu Anfang ihre Prinzipien und die Technik ihrer Anwendung vorgestellt werden. Ansonsten ist das Buch aber so untechnisch geschrieben, daß man ihm auch ohne tiefere Logikkenntnisse gut folgen kann. Für jeden, der sich für die Philosophie interessiert, sei er Anfänger, Laie oder bereits gut mit ihr vertraut, hält dieses Buch eine Fülle an Informationen und provokanten Denkanregungen bereit.

    Abstract
    Im Rahmen einer Europäischen Mutual Learning Exercise wurde der Wandel zu Open Science mit Schwerpunkt auf alternativen Metriken zur Vermessung und Bewertung, sowie neuen Anreizsystemen diskutiert. Der Artikel bereitet die Ergebnisse dieses Austausches im Lichte der Herausforderungen für offene Infrastrukturen auf. Es scheint jetzt der geeignete Zeitpunkt, Infrastrukturen im Hinblick auf deren sozio-technische Funktionen und Verantwortungen im öffentlich finanzierten Wissenschaftssystem neu zu bewerten und offen zu gestalten. Dies kann jedoch nur gelingen, wenn deren Architektur und Logik transparent gehalten werden, und das Wissen über deren Nutzungsweisen offenbleibt.
