- Abstract
- Der vorliegende Artikel diskutiert das Problem der Informationsarmut sowohl als quantitatives wie auch als qualitatives Problem. Auswirkungen mangelnder Informationsinfrastruktur sind Ausschluß weiter Teile der Menschehit von der Weltkommunikation, Ausschluß einzelner Gesellschaftsgruppen sowie eine kulturelle Homogenisierung. Quantitativem Informationsreichtum folgt nicht zwangsläufig Wissensreichtum. Die Konzentration im Informationssektor, die Informationsfreiheit und öffentliches Wissen sind Faktoren, die über Informationsarmut und -reichtum bestimmen
