Neben der 1998 erschienenen englischsprachigen FRBR-Ausgabe liegen bereits zahlreiche Übersetzungen vor. Die FRBR haben sich seit ihrem Erscheinen 1998 nicht nur befruchtend auf theoretische Ansätze ausgewirkt. Die "FRBR Bibliography" <http://infoserv.inist.fr /wwsympa.fcgi/d_read/frbr/FRBR_bibliography.rtf>, die laufend aktualisiert wird, bietet einen Überblick über Anwendungsstudien, Implementierungen und Forschungsprojekte."
