    Abstract
    Die Virtuelle Fachbibliothek GEO-LEO bietet Geo- und Montanwissenschaftlern eine integrierte Suche über Bibliothekskataloge, Literatur-Datenbanken und Volltextserver. Die Sondersammelgebietsbibliotheken in Freiberg und Göttingen machen damit ihre - im Auftrag der DFG erworbenen - Ressourcen für alle Wissenschaftler im deutschsprachigen Raum sichtbar und zugänglich. Viele weitere Services, wie die Publikationsplattform, erhöhen den Nutzwert für die Wissenschaftler und tragen zur Attraktivität des Portals bei. Die im Projekt erworbenen Erfahrungen und die dort entwickelte Software stehen anderen Suchportalen zur Verfügung.
