Überall wird gegenwärtig nach der Auffahrt zu 'Information-High-way' gesucht und an eigenen Informationsangeboten im 'Netz der Netze' gearbeitet.     Abstract
    Das Interesse and der Technik der Expertensysteme ist groß. Ähnlich groß sind auch Debatten darüber, ob es sich dabei um eine weitere Modeerscheinung in der Vielzahl rechnergestützter Implementierungstechniken oder um eine tatsächliche qualitativer Verbesserung der Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten durch den Computereinsatz handelt. Dies gilt für fast alle Bereiche, in denen Rechner anwendbar sind, daher also auch für den Bereich des Bibliothekswesens und der Dokumentation. Der folgende Beitrag versucht, in sehr geraffter und damit natürlich auch verkürzter Form die Fragen der Definition und des Aufbaus von Expertensystemen und ihre Nutzung als Zugangs- und Retrievalsysteme zu behandeln.     Abstract
    Der Erziehungs- und Bildungsauftrag der Schule umfaßt informationelle Bildung als eine der Schlüsselkompetenzen der Informationsgesellschaft. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Grundlagen für die aus dieser Aussage abgeleiteten notwendigen curricularen Ergänzungen und Neuerungen herausgearbeitet. Im Zentrum steht die Überführung des Erziehungsziels "informationelle Bildung" in eine operationalisierbare Zieltaxonomie, die in Basiswissen, das Technologie- und Medienkompetenz umfaßt, in Handlungswissen unter den Aspekten Information, Präsentation, Kommunikation, Transaktion und in Metakompetenzen aufgeschlüsselt wird. Die Herleitung der Ziele erfolgt aufgrund der als maßgeblich erachteten Strukturmerkmale, die sich aus der Konstellation der sich herausbildenden Informationsgesellschaft, der Telemediatisierung und der Institution Schule ableiten. Für die Realisierung im Unterricht wird die Modifikation der gegebenen schulpädagogischen Konzepte "informationstechnische Grundbildung" und "Medienerziehung" sowie der Ansatz der handlungsorientierten Pädagogik vorgeschlagen, an Einsatzmöglichkeiten im Unterricht konkretisiert und hinsichtlich der Sicherung der Rahmenbedingungen bezüglich inner- und außerschulischer Kooperation sowie personeller und technischer Ressourcen diskutiert.

    Abstract

    Abstract
    Seit der 1983 in zweiter Auflage erschienenen 'Katalogkunde: Formalkataloge und formale Ordnungsmethoden' hat sich durch die elektronische Datenverarbeitung die Arbeit im Bereich der Katalogisierung einschneidend verändert. Einerseits ist ein gewisser Entwicklungsprozeß noch nicht abgeschlossen (Regelwerke, Datenformate, Einbindung in den allgemeinen Informations- und Kommunikationsprozeß), andererseits ist das Wissen sowohl um konventionelle als auch um elektronische Kataloge auch in 'unsicheren Zeiten' nicht verzichtbar. Entsprechend versteht sich die Einführung als Hilfe für Unterricht, Fortbildung und Praxis in Zeiten des Umbruchs und der Entwicklung. Sie möge deshalb auch denen dienen, die nicht unmittelbar mit der Katalogisierung zu tun haben, aber Zusammenhänge erkennen wollen und Entscheidungen zu treffen haben
