Stock gemeinsam mit Mechtild Stock verfasst hat. Als primäre Zielgruppe werden Studierende der »Informationswissenschaft, Informatik und Wirtschaftsinformatik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Informationswirtschaft, Information und Dokumentation, Bibliothekswesen, Computerlinguistik« (Seite XVI) genannt; daneben sind auch Praktiker aus diesen Bereichen angesprochen.
