Abstract

Am 15. u. 16.6.1998 fand dieses internationales Kolloquium anläßlich der Beendigung des vom Land NRW finanzierten Projekts 'Katalogisierungsverbund Öffentlicher und Wissenschaftlicher Bibliotheken in Nordrhein-Westfalen - eine Untersuchung über die Rahmenbedingungen der Teilnahme Öffentlicher Bibliotheken am bestehenden Verbund wissenschaftlicher Bibliotheken' statt (vgl. Dbi-Materialien; 170). Auf dem Kolloquium wurden die Ergebnisse des Projekts vorgestellt und in den Kontext der deutschen und europäischen Bestrebeungen positioniert, Öffentliche Bibliotheken für die neuen anforderungen der Informationsgesellschaft vorzuberereiten. Der vorliegende Band dokumentiert die Referate des Kolloquiums
