    Abstract
    Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden die Ergebnisse einer Analyse zusammengefasst, in der untersucht wurde, ob, und wenn ja welche Services für das Management von publikationsbezogenen Forschungsdaten gegenwärtig bei wissenschaftlichen Infrastrukturdienstleistern in den Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften bestehen. Die Analyse wurde Mithilfe von Desktop-Research sowie einer Online-Befragung, an der sich 22 von 46 angeschriebenen Institutionen beteiligten, durchgeführt. Untersucht wurden vor allem deutsche und europäische Forschungsdatenzentren, Bibliotheken und Archive. Insbesondere wurde untersucht, ob diese Organisationen extern erzeugte Forschungsdaten, den dazugehörigen Berechnungscode (Syntax) und ggf. genutzte (selbstgeschriebene) Software grundsätzlich speichern und hosten. Weitere Themenfelder waren Metadatenstandards, Persistente Identifikatoren, Verfügbarkeit von Schnittstellen (APIs) und Unterstützung von semantischen Technologien.

    Abstract
    Ein Großteil der existierenden Angebote zur Vermittlung von Informationskompetenz durch Hochschulbibliotheken richtet sich primär an Studierende in den unteren Semestern. Der vorliegende Artikel betrachtet die Gruppe der fortgeschrittenen Nutzer: Masterstudierende und Promovierende. Aktuelle Angebote für diese Zielgruppen werden beispielhaft dargestellt, gefolgt von möglichen Themen und Konzepten zu ihrer weiteren Unterstützung. Hierbei fließen in der Literatur verfügbare Umfrageergebnisse ein. Für die Gruppe der Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden wurde zudem eine eigene Online-Umfrage durchgeführt. Sie gibt Aufschluss über die Selbsteinschätzung der Teilnehmer bezüglich ihrer persönlichen Informationskompetenz, deren Erwerb, relevante Inhalte und geeignete Formen entsprechender Angebote. Die Ergebnisse werden zusammenfassend wiedergegeben und in einem Anhang in Diagrammen ausführlich dargestellt. Erwartungsgemäß befinden sich konkrete Angebote zur Vermittlung von Informationskompetenz an fortgeschrittene Nutzer noch im Aufbau. Die relevanten Themen ähneln grundsätzlich jenen für Studienanfänger, jedoch sind ein ausgeprägter fachlicher Bezug und die Vertiefung von Inhalten bedeutsam. Beide Gruppen benötigen Angebote zu allgemeinen Recherchestrategien, zur Identifizierung fachspezifischer Angebote sowie zur Nutzung von Datenbanken und Literaturverwaltungssoftware. Für Masterstudierende hat zudem die Internetrecherche sowie die Schaffung eines Bewusstseins für Plagiarismus und richtiges Zitieren Relevanz. Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden zeigen ein gesteigertes Interesse am elektronischen Publizieren, der Veröffentlichung von Fachartikeln und der Nutzung von E-Publikationen. Für Masterstudierende eigenen sich intracurriculare Schulungsangebote, Angebote im Rahmen von Seminaren und verpflichtende fachspezifische Workshop in Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachbereichen, möglicherweise ergänzt (jedoch nicht ersetzt) durch E-Learning-Angebote. Optionale Workshops sollten möglichst im Wahlpflichtbereich belegt werden können. Für Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden ist eine Integration von Angeboten in die formale Doktorandenausbildung, soweit an der jeweiligen Hochschule praktiziert, sinnvoll. Darüber hinaus ist ihnen selbstbestimmtes Lernen zu ermöglichen. Kurse und Workshops sollten möglichst als kompakte eintägige Veranstaltungen konzipiert werden. Auch sonstige Angebote wie Online-Tutorials u. ä. sollten kompakt und präzise auf die relevanten Themen eingehen. Nicht zuletzt ist auch die Möglichkeit zur Einzelberatung für beide Gruppen wichtig.

    Abstract
    Dass eine erfolgreiche Suche nach im Unternehmen vorhandenen Informationen oftmals schwieriger zu bewerkstelligen ist als eine Suche im Internet, wird in der Privatwirtschaft zunehmend als Problem gesehen. Enterprise Search ist eine Strategie, diesem Problem zu begegnen. In einer Studie mit explorativem Charakter wurde der Frage nachgegangen, wie es um den Stand unternehmensweiten Suche in österreichischen Unternehmen bestellt ist. m Rahmen einer Onlinebefragung wurden dazu im März / April 2009 469 Unternehmen befragt. Es beteiligten sich 104 Unternehmen. Das entspricht einem Rücklauf von 22 %. Dieser Beitrag gibt Auskunft über Status quo der unternehmensweiten Informationsorganisation und -suche in Österreich und benennt unternehmens- bzw. personengebundene Faktoren, die darauf Einfluss haben. Im einzelnen werden Ergebnisse zu folgenden Aspekten präsentiert: Regelung der Informationsorganisation; Anreicherung unstrukturierter Informationen mit Metadaten; Probleme bei der Suche nach unternehmensinternen Informationen; täglicher Zeitaufwand für die Suche; vorhandene, wünschenswerte und benötigte Suchfunktionalitäten; Zufriedenheit mit der Suche und der Informationsorganisation Unternehmen.
