    Abstract
Collection of articles covering the collecting and uses for postcards in libraries. Presents compelling reasons why libraries should take a more active role in establishing and maintaining postcard collections and encourage their use. Explains the nature and accessibility of existing postcard collections, techniques for acquiring, arranging, preserving and handling collections; and ways to make researchers and library users aware of these collections
