    Abstract
Compares the classification of entomological literature in the Dewey Decimal Classification and Library of Congress Classification systems. Argues that while LCC treats the subject in more depth especially with reference to entomological taxonomy, the arrangement in DDC proves to be more logical and gives greater consideration to natural evolution. DDC allows for a greater number of possibilities when considering the geographic distribution of insects and other aspects of their study
