- Describes the design and use of the ARCHWAY computer records management system developed by Portmouth City Records Office to improve accessioning, cataloguing and indexing procedures. The result of close cooperation between professional archivists and professional computer specialists, ARCHWAY is extremely aesy to use. Illustrates the accessioning procedure and describes how the MAD2 archival description standards have been used for cataloguing.
