    Abstract
    Vor drei Jahren beschloss die Steuerungsgruppe »Systematikkooperation« mit Vertretern des Deutschen Bibliotheksverbandes (dbv), des Berufsverbands Information Bibliothek (BIB) und der ekz.bibliotheksservice GmbH (siehe auch BuB Heft 7/8-2011, Seite 511) die Aktualisierungen der ASB und der KAB auf neue Grundlagen zu stellen. Hintergrund war, dass mit der Auflösung des Deutschen Bibliotheksinstitutes die Systematikpflege für die bereits weitgehend aktualisierte KAB zunächst noch mit einem Werkvertrag fortgeführt werden konnte, aber dann für beide Systematiken zum Erliegen kam.

    Elf Jahre nach Erscheinender letzten Ausgabe der insbesondere in den Öffentlichen Bibliotheken der »neuen« Länder angewandten »Klassifikation für Allgemeinbibliotheken« hat der Bock+ Herchen Verlag (info@bock-net.de) im Dezember 2004 eine neue, von Kathrin Lehmann und Dagmar Weber-Tamschick bearbeitete, zweibändige Ausgabe der KAB/E vorgelegt.     § 6 Laufzeit 1. Diese Vereinbarung ist auf unbefristete Dauer abgeschlossen. 2. Sie ist mit Abschluss einer Neubearbeitung schriftlich kündbar. 3. Sie ist aus wichtigem Grund mit einer Frist von einem halben Jahr jeweils zum Jahresende kündbar. 4. Die Kündigung muß schriftlich an die beiden Kooperationspartner erfolgen. Der Grund ist zu nennen. § 7 Schlussbestimmungen 1. Sämtliche Änderungen und Ergänzungen zu diesem Vertrag bedürfen zur ihrer Rechtswirksamkeit und nicht nur zu Beweiszwecken der Schriftform. 2. Sollten eine oder mehrere Bestimmungen dieser Vereinbarung ungültig sein oder werden, so wird die Gültigkeit der übrigen Bestimmungen dadurch nicht berührt. Die Kooperationspartner verpflichten sich, die sich als ungültig erweisende Bestimmung durch eine gültige, dem wirtschaftlichen Ergebnis gleichkommende Bestimmung zu ersetzen und sich gegenseitig so zu stellen, als ob diese Bestimmung vom Zeitpunkt der Ungültigkeit an vereinbart gewesen wäre. Entsprechendes gilt für Lücken in der Vereinbarung.
