Abstract: Der Beitrag enthält die Vorstellung des Entwurfs eines neuen Thesaurus-Konzepts, der vom Komitee für Thesaurusforschung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Dokumentation entwickelt worden ist. In diesem Konzept soll der Thesaurus nicht allein dem Information Retrieval dienen, es soll als terminologisches Werkzeug auf möglichst allen Feldern des 'Linguistic engineering' eingesetzt werden können.
