    Abstract
    Vom soziolinguistischen Ansatz her, führt dieses Buch in die Theorie und Praxis der Fachsprachen ein und stellt den modernen Forschungsstand dar. Funktionen, linguistische Merkmale und gesellschaftliche Relevanz spezialsprachlicher Kommunikationsformen werden an vielen Beispielen erläutert.
