    Abstract
    Northern Light is part WWW search engine and part full text database. The latter is called Special Collection and consists of fulltext articles from 1.800 journals, newswires and other resources. Searching, bibliographic information and summaries are free but with prices per article ranging from $1 to $4 of a monthly subscription for 50 documents from a 880 journal subset.
