    Nachrichtentheorien erklären unterschiedlich die politische Wirklichkeit in Medien, weil sie von verschiedenen Mechanismen und Annahmen über das Verhältnis von Medien zu Politik ausgehen. Medientheoretische Ansätze, Konstruktion von Wirklichkeit durch Prozesse (Produktions-, Vermittlungs- und Wahrnehmungsprozeß), Erklärungsansätze aktueller Theorien der Nachrichtenauswahl für die mediale Wirklichkeitskonstruktion in der Nachrichtenproduktion, wechselseitige Beeinflussung von Medien und Politik und Auswirkungen auf das Verhältnis von politischer Realität zu Medienrealität werden behandelt.

    Abstract
    In der folgenden Arbeit werde ich die Sozialontologie John Searles genauer betrachten. Das Ziel seiner Ausarbeitungen besteht darin, das Problem der Sozialontologie zu klären, das heißt herauszufinden, wie Menschen "eine 'soziale' Wirklichkeit kreieren" (Searle 2009, S. 505). Unser Hauptaugenmerk wird hierbei auf den Gegenstand der Sozialontologie, also auf soziale Prozesse und Tatsachen, soziale Objekte und Ereignisse, gelenkt sein. Generell versucht Searle durch seine Ausführungen zu klären, inwiefern institutionelle soziale Phänomene "über die Sozialontologie hinausgehen, die bei sozialen Tieren vorliegt" (Searle 2009, S. 512). Seine Arbeit ist demnach ein Versuch zu erklären, durch welche Merkmale die menschliche Sozialontologie der tierischen überlegen ist. Searle nimmt die soziale Wirklichkeit als menschliches Konstrukt an, die nur dadurch existiert, weil wir glauben und akzeptieren, dass sie existiert. Was macht etwa ein bedrucktes Stück Papier zu einem Geldschein mit einem bestimmten Wert? Wieso kann ein Tier dieselbe physische Beschaffenheit eines Geldscheins betrachten wie ein Mensch, aber doch nicht den Geldschein, sondern nur das bedruckte Papier sehen? In diesem Zusammenhang werden wir auf die drei Grundformeln Searles zur Beschreibung der Grundstruktur der sozial-institutionellen Wirklichkeit stoßen, und hierzu die kollektive Intentionalität, Statuszuschreibung und konstitutive Regeln und Prozeduren näher betrachten. Es soll beschrieben werden, wie zum Beispiel ein bedrucktes Stück Papier durch Statuszuweisung eine gewisse Macht erzeugt.

In dieser Arbeit werden die Grundbegriffe und exemplarische Kernprozesse der Informationswissenschaft aus Sicht des Radikalen Konstruktivismus betrachtet, einer Erkenntnistheorie, welche besagt, dass der Mensch seine Wirklichkeit nicht passiv erfährt, sondern aktiv konstruiert. Nach einer kurzen Beschreibung der Informationswissenschaft wird zum Radikalen Konstruktivismus übergeleitet und die daraus folgenden Konsequenzen für Verständigung und Wirklichkeit erläutert. Der konventionellen Anschauung von Daten, Information, Wissen, etc. wird dann diese neue Sichtweise entgegengestellt. Darauf aufbauend werden Informationsverhalten, -pathologien und -prozesse vom radikal-konstruktivistischen Standpunkt aus dargestellt. So sollen der Informationswissenschaft ein breiteres Verständnis für ihren Gegenstandsbereich und zusätzliche Kompetenzen vermittelt werden.

    Abstract
    Thesauri und Dokumentationslexika können als Varianten von onomasiologischen Wörterbüchern aufgefaßt werden, deren besonderes Interesse für die Linguistik darin besteht, daß Äquivalenz-, Hierarchie- und Assoziationsrelationen angegegeben werden. Regelwerke und Beiträge werden besprochen, die sich mit der Ausweisung von "verwandten" Begriffen in der bibliothekarischen und dokumentarischen Praxis befassen. Belege zu Musterbeispielen von "siehe auch"- und "related term"-Verweisungen werden anhand von drei deutschsprachigen Schlagwortregistern aufgelistet. Die Assoziationsrelationen werden in paradigmatische und syntagmatische Beziehungen eingeteilt. Auch Gruppierungen nach Begriffsfeldern und Assoziationsfeldern sind möglich. Untersuchungen von Assoziationsrelationen im Sachbereich "Buchwesen" bestätigen die Vermutung, daß die Mehrzahl der Verweisungen das gemeinsame Vorkommen bestimmter Begriffe in typischen Kontexten der außersprachlichen Wirklichkeit betrifft.
